Parts of my family came to this country just a few generations ago while parts of my Balcom ancestry go all the way back to the Mayflower and the New England Colonies. It is so interesting to trace American history through the lens of my family story.
Maryland Responds
I have been a member of the Maryland Responds Medical Reserve Corps since 2014. Most recently, I have been trained and activated to help the state respond to Covid19 through volunteering at the State's Annapolis testing site, vaccine clinics in the region, and rapid antigen test distribution program at BWI-Marshall airport. I am very proud to play a small role in helping our country through these awful times.
